Screen printing is a famous printing technique using fabric as a matrix to transfer ink to a wide variety of paper, wood, textile, glass and more.

Used since the dawn of time in the Far East to decorate fabrics, this technique became extremely popular in the art world in the 60s. Andy Warhol has notably contributed significantly to its popularity. Indeed, many of his works were made using this technique, which allowed him to print a large number of copies of the same subject while obtaining each time a unique impression according to the pressure exerted and the inks employed.
