An exhibition before boarding? In Roissy, art invites itself in the middle of the airport
Inaugurated in 2012, the Espace Musée du Terminal 2 offers twice a year exhibitions to travelers with tickets, in connection with major Parisian museums. Explanations.
In the midst of the inevitable tax-free shops selling watches, perfume, leather goods and macaroons, the Espace Musée du Terminal 2E at Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle, one of the most prestigious at the airport, has something to surprise travelers. The 250-square-meter gallery, inaugurated in 2012, offers exhibitions twice a year in connection with some of the largest museums in Paris. And travelers are not mistaken: they are nearly half a million a year to cross the threshold of this museum like no other.
